In addition to allowing for progress in production plant performance, the constant integration of new process and packaging technologies improves the range of our products. It creates the possibility to refine exclusive and distinctive formulations and to identify new functions of use.
Pralina has always maintained links with the Science and Food Technology degree courses in the Faculty of Agriculture at the universities of Parma, Foggia and Bari. In certain matters, it also collaborates with the SSICA (Experimental Station for the Food Preserving Industry) in Parma.
Since 1997, Pralina has implemented its own Company Handbook for Hygiene Inspection, which sets out internal regulations to guarantee maximum hygiene and safety standards for its products, equipment, department machinery and workers.
In 2000, the company achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management system, continuing its search for quality, not only of the products, but also in the production and company organisation constantly aimed at the customer’s satisfaction.
In 2007, Pralina achieved ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification, confirming the company’s motivation to improve its credibility as a reliable and responsible manufacturer.
In 2008, the company achieved, pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004, EC recognition for preserved meat activities: APPROVAL NUMBER E9V7F.
